Explore any subject matter whether it’s still-life, portraiture, landscape or any other theme! We’ll be using oil paints and working in an alla prima (wet-on-wet) style. Bring any photos and ideas to inspire your composition, all ideas are welcome! You can work from an image printed out or on your phone or tablet. Bring an apron or old shirt to wear over clothes.
All materials and a glass of wine from the Berdoulat cellar or an equally delicious non-alcoholic drink included.
Libby Dillon is a professional painter and teacher, specialising in contemporary figurative oil painting. Libby has had paintings pre-selected for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters 2022, BP portrait award at the National Portrait Gallery 2020 and 2018 and works on commission. Libby studied BA Fine Art Painting at Loughborough University School of Art and Design 2001 and trained to teach at the Institute of Education 2003.
