This wall light, sculpted in the distinctive form of a classic French brioche loaf, is delicately made from luminous fine bone china. Designed in collaboration with our friends Cath and Jeremy at Feldspar Studio, the design playfully references the signature domed curves and rich contours of a brioche, turning the familiar comfort of French baking into a beautiful light fitting. When lit, the fine bone china glows with a gentle warmth, accentuating the tactile hand-finished surfaces and casting delicious, puffy, brioche shadows.
Each piece is slip-cast in fine bone china, finished with Feldspar's signature translucent glaze, and assembled with precision hand-cut brass fittings.
Bright white, opaque and glossy by day, and glowing from within by night, it is cast more finely than their usual wares to ensure the light glows from within, and shares the characteristic wobbly profile of their main collection.
Fits an E14 LED bulb, supplied as standard with a UK 13amp plug, but can be hardwired if desired.
