Sarah is a self-taught calligrapher with over seven years of experience. She set up dot the i Atelier in 2018, a modern calligraphy and stationery design studio based in Bath; using her calligraphy for bespoke wedding & event stationery and signage. Sarah does live calligraphy in store for luxury brands like Jo Malone, Molton Brown & also at events. Clients include Soho House, Decca Records/Universal Music & Rolex. Sarah was the calligrapher & hand double for the BBC/Amazon Prime drama ‘The Pursuit of Love’. 

Workshop:

We live in a fast-paced, digital world and sometimes we all need to step back and take it slower. Switch off and spend an afternoon learning the basics of modern pointed pen calligraphy with Sarah from dot the i Atelier.

From pen strokes and creating letterforms, to joining them together & writing words. You will leave feeling inspired to get creative with a new skill.

No experience is necessary (and neither is neat handwriting!). All materials are provided including a pen, nib, pot of ink and detailed worksheets to take away with you.
Soft drink included. We’ll fit in a tea break when you can purchase a hot drink with a delicious baked treat from the Cereal Bakery on-site.

Note: Please wear suitable clothing that you don’t mind getting ink on - just in case! Aged 14+
Tickets are non-refundable. Transferable to alternative date with advance notification. If the workshop is cancelled by dot the i Atelier & an alternative date is not convenient, a full refund will be given.
