Mini Masterclass in Oil Paint with Libby Dillon | Portraiture

This workshop will focus on observing a close-up area of the face working from photographs to create cropped and full compositions. Images will provided but please do bring any photos of faces (printed out or on your phone or tablet) that you’d like to work from. Please bring an apron or old shirt to wear over clothes.

Libby Dillon is a professional painter and teacher, specialising in contemporary figurative oil painting. Libby has had paintings pre-selected for the BP portrait award at the National Portrait Gallery 2020 and 2018 and works on commission. Libby studied BA Fine Art Painting at Loughborough University School of Art and Design 2001 and trained to teach at the Institute of Education 2003.
