Oil Painting 6 Week Course with Libby Dillon Winter 2023

We'll be exploring and developing an understanding of oil painting working over a series of classes onto one canvas. No experience of oil painting necessary. All subjects matters can be painted, portraiture, landscape, still-life… Please bring an image, printed out, or on your phone/tablet, feel free to contact to discuss the image you’d like to work from. Bring an apron or old shirt to wear over clothes. All materials included.

Libby Dillon is a professional painter and teacher, specialising in contemporary figurative oil painting. Libby has had paintings pre-selected for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters 2022, BP portrait award at the National Portrait Gallery 2020 and 2018 and works on commission. Libby studied BA Fine Art Painting at Loughborough University School of Art and Design 2001 and trained to teach at the Institute of Education 2003.
