The name of this piece comes from the find beneath the seat, fixed via a long dovetail joint, which provides rigidity. Made from solid oak, with an oiled finish to the seat and an ebonised finish to the legs, the simplicity of the design lends itself to settings both ancient and modern.
Pictured here is our standard length of 1830mm, with a width of 270mm, and height of 450mm. We can make it to a bespoke length if required.
