Classically trained, award winning artist Rachel Vynne welcomes you to a programme of drawing based upon her training in Florence.
Following in the footsteps of many great artists since the late 19th century, students will copy from a set of Charles Bargue lithographs. The lithographs were developed to give a student of art a thorough understanding of technique, thereby equipping them with the foundation of excellence in their practice.
During this six week evening course, working at their own pace students of all abilities from complete beginners to experienced artists will aim to complete a level one lithograph in pencil. Students will learn how to measure accurately, articulate shapes and create volume, introducing the tools to create representational art.
Rachel is an experienced tutor, professional artist.
The course will run for 6 evenings from 21st October - 25th November 2024, 7-9pm.
