As a child growing up in Berdoulat, Patrick had the frequent task of visiting the neighbour's farmyard to collect eggs, leaving a 10 Franc coin for a dozen. There's nothing like really fresh eggs, and sometimes they'd still be warm as his mother cracked them in to the frying pan!
Our egg rack is inspired by an 18th century one Patrick inherited, which over time has developed a beautiful wibble. It holds a dozen eggs on its oak top, supported by tiny little Tuscan order columns turned in walnut, whose through tenons are capped with mother of pearl inlays.
Please note that being a natural material, the tone and grain of the wood will vary from one product to another. Wood can swell and shrink in response to its climate. We recommend not leaving this product in water for long periods.
